The Commons
The commons is one of TCU's major attractions. The commons provides a scenic and exciting area for students to relax, hang out, study and do activities. One of the the most well known features is frog fountain. This fountain is symbolic in the sense that it represents all four years of a TCU student's career. The statues in the center of the fountain are tiered so that each one gradually gets smaller. The symbolism in this is that the tallest one represents the seniors looking down on the classes below them, and so on. Surrounding the commons are the upperclassmen dorms. There are four buildings for students of sophomore standing and above. Samuelson, King, Wright, and Amon G. Carter make up the four buildings of commons housing.
